Wine Tasting, Now at Dillard House
The new tasting room, Doghobble Dillard, brings award-winning North Georgia wines directly to the Dillard House property. Guests staying with us, or anyone passing through the North Georgia mountains, can now walk from dinner to a proper wine tasting without leaving the grounds.
Doghobble Wine Farm has spent years building a reputation as one of North Georgia’s standout wineries, and this new tasting room means you don’t have to drive to Dahlonega to experience it. Whether you’re looking for a wine bar near Dillard for an afternoon glass, or planning a full tasting flight after your stay, it’s now part of the Dillard House experience.
What to Expect
The tasting room pours fifteen handcrafted wines (reds, whites, rosé, sparkling, and a few sweeter muscadine-based options) sourced from Doghobble Wine Farm in Dahlonega and Horse Creek Winery in Nashville, GA. Pours are available by the glass, bottle, or flight, alongside a small-plates menu built around Southern and Argentinian-inspired bites: empanadas, warm focaccia, charcuterie from Atlanta’s Spotted Trotter, and cheese from Sweet Grass Dairy.
It’s a fitting pairing for the Dillard House setting, a relaxed, unhurried way to end a day in the mountains.
