Our PoliciesWe understand that plans can change due to unforeseen events. At The Dillard House we are happy to assist you in canceling your reservations should you need to. Please review our policy below and make appropriate considerations when reserving lodging.Group Reservations:Reservations associated with a group under a group contract have their own cancellation date policy and the standard cancellation date policies listed below do not apply to them. Please contact the event coordinator for your group if you are unfamiliar with the group's contracted cancellation date. Room, Suite and Cottage Reservations for Sunday - Thursday arrivals (excluding October):Cancellation must be made before 4:00 pm EST on the day of arrival for room, suite and cottage reservations scheduled for a Sunday through Thursday arrival for all months except October and Holiday periods. See Cancellation Penalty below.
Room, Suite and Cottage Reservations for Sunday - Thursday arrivals for OctoberCancellation must be made before 3:00 pm EST 24 hours prior to the day of arrival for room, suite and cottage reservations scheduled for a Sunday through Thursday arrival in October to avoid cancellation penalty. See Cancellation Penalty below. Room, Suite and Cottage Reservations for Friday - Saturday arrivals:Cancellation must be made before 3:00 pm EST 24 hours prior to arrival for room and cottage reservations scheduled for a Friday or Saturday arrival for all arrivals excluding Holiday periods to avoid cancellation penalty. See Cancellation Penalty below.Room, Suite and Cottage Reservations for Holiday Periods:Cancellation must be made before 3:00 pm EST 72 hours prior to the arrival date for room, suite and cottage reservations scheduled for a holiday period or holiday weekend to avoid cancellation penalty. See Cancellation Penalty below.Chalet Reservations:Chalet cancellations must be made before 3:00 pm EST 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date to avoid cancellation penalty. See Cancellation Penalty below. Cancellation PenaltyFor Room, Suite and Cottage: Cancellation penalty on room, suite and cottage reservations is equal to the first night's rental fee (excluding 2 night minimum rental periods when a 2 night penalty would apply - see below)..For Chalet: Cancellation penalty on a Chalet (excluding 2 night minimum rental periods) is a one night penalty if cancelled within 14 days of arrival and a two (2) night penalty if cancelled within 7 days of arrival (providing reservation is for 2 or more nights).
Two Night Minimums:At certain times throughout the year we have 2 night minimum on certain properties. Whenever there is a two night minimum on a property, if you depart early or if you cancel within the cancellation period or fail to honor this reservation for any reason, you will be charged for both night's rental. For 2018 the following holiday weekends and special times will have 2 night minimums: Please call our Front Desk at 800-541-0671 if you are unsure if your reservation is during a minimum 2 night reservation period. |
