Wine, Dine and Punchlines: A taste of North Georgia Vineyards

Featuring Laurie Forster is one of Americas leading wine experts and author of the award-winning book The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine. Laurie is a Certified Sommelier, National Speaker and TV personality who is not afraid to tell you her first wine came from a box. Her approach to demystifying wine caught the eye of major networks and led her to guest appearances on Dr Oz, FOX Morning News, Martha Stewart Living Today and ABC News at Noon. Her mobile app, The Wine Coach, was listed as one of the Top 8 Wine Apps in Wine Enthusiast.

Guests will attend a dinner and wine pairing on March 25th and will taste North Georgia wines from five nearby vineyards: 12 Spies Vineyard, Stonewall Creek Vineyards, Tiger Mountain Vineyards, Hightower Creek Vineyards, and Crane Creek Vineyards.

This event is being tied into the 2017 Wine Highway Weekend sponsored by The Winegrowers Association of Georgia.Chef Tim Dondero, Executive Chef of Dondero's Kitchen, a family-run international cafe and market in Athens, Georgia, will serve as guest chef for this event. An international medical researcher, as well as a chef, cooking teacher, and food writer, Chef Dondero's focus is to delight patrons with exciting, authentic international food.
