The Dillard House is nestled in the Georgia Mountains, which means we are the ideal location for you to base you and your travel companions as you head out to visit three of Georgia's gorgeous state parks. Rabun County is the only county in Georgia that is home to three state parks.

Tallulah Gorge State Park offers plenty of fun activities and adventures for the entire family, and is only one of the fascinating experiences right out our back door. You will surely want to take the time to explore each park. Visit the parks to see the dancing colorful fall leaves, majestic peaks, rushing brooks, roaring waterfalls, and bubbling streams.
  • Black Rock Mountain State Park: The majestic Black Rock Mountain reaches 3,640 feet with over 1,803 acres of the southern Blue Ridge Mountains surrounding it. This recreation area has hiking trails, fishing adventures, and scenic overlooks you won't want to miss.
  • Moccasin Creek State Park: Located on Lake Burton, there is hiking, fishing, boating, and more making this is a great place for high country adventures.
  • Tallulah Gorge State Park: features one of the most spectacular gorges in the southeast, running three miles and between 600 and 1,000 feet deep. The park's breathtaking views and the town's rich history make this area a favorite stopping point along U.S. Highway 441. The park offers camping, lake/beach swimming, trails, and an interpretive center with exhibits
