The Rock House is the original Dillard House that has been recently renovated, but still features the antiques, lace and southern charm of yesteryear.
Established in 1917 by Carrie & Arthur Dillard, the Rock House is the original Dillard House. The cozy guest rooms are furnished in lovely antiques with hardwood floors and consist of 10 rooms, comprising 6 rental units - 2 rental units with a bedroom and private bath and 4 rental units consisting of 2 bedrooms each with an adjoining bath. All rooms have heating and air conditioning, telephones with personal voice mail, cable TV, DVD players and wireless Internet access. Guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor and are accessible by stairs only.
The main level has 2 meeting rooms with fireplaces and bathroom facilities. Some small groups prefer to rent the entire Rock House, having their meetings downstairs and their accommodations upstairs. There are comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch with an incredible view of the mountains and the valley.
